SEA provides the following services to members:

- Termly and Annual Newsletters
- Ongoing advice and support
- Representation to local, State and Commonwealth government and professional bodies
- Facilitation of cultural exchange between member schools
- Access to and support in implementation of the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework
- Attendance and representation at national Delegates’ meetings
- Access to SEA Members’ Area on password protected website
- Listed as a member on the SEA website and able to access SEA promotional material
- Permission to advertise membership and use SEA logo
- Permission to purchase SEA Styleguide
- Distribution to membership of school’s reports on activities, progress, items of interest etc via website and written reports
- Facilitation of the provision of consultancy services across a range of educational, financial and management issues (See Professional Partners)
- Promotion of Steiner education to the wider community – parents, educational bodies, government and the media
- Professional learning opportunities for teachers – e.g. conferences, visiting speakers, provision of educational resources
- Current information on Government policy, legislative changes and issues affecting the education sector
- Representation to the international Steiner community
- Steiner curriculum research and development
- Promotional material
- Access to any discounts or funding opportunities negotiated on behalf of member schools
