High School Art & Sculpture (Ceramics) Teacher
Commencing Term 1, 24th January 2022 (1 year contract)

The school is located in a bush land setting near Bibra Lake in the southern suburbs of Perth (approx. 20 minutes from the CBD and 15 minutes from Fremantle). We provide a Steiner education from Playgroup to Class 12.
PWS is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join the High School Faculty to work with the High School students from Class 8 to Class 12. The successful applicant will have a passion for education, have an understanding of Steiner pedagogy, philosophy and the typical development phases through which children develop. A desire to learn more and grow as a teacher is essential and the school will support you in your knowledge of Steiner Education and your professional development.
The Arts form a core part of the Steiner Curriculum and are compulsory for all students. This position involves teaching mainly Fine Arts, ie drawing and painting, Main Lesson blocks of Art History, and some ceramics.
Applicants must be teachers who are registered (or eligible for registration) with the Teachers Registration Board of WA, have permission to work in Western Australia and hold a Working with Children Check.
