High School Student Learning Assistant Full or Part time

The Armidale Waldorf School is located on a beautiful bush campus and seek an enthusiastic candidate to work in the high school 3-5 days a week during school term time.

We are looking for someone with a high degree of motivation and initiative, as well as a positive disposition and an ability to work within a team environment. The successful applicant must be an advocate for young people and youthful opportunities that sit within our philosophies which are based on those of the late Rudolph Steiner.


Qualifications & experience

  • Training or an interest in Steiner Education.
  • Experience in a similar role in particular assisting students
  • Preferred: Certificate 3 in learning support or other suitable education qualifications
  • Working with Children Number


Tasks & responsibilities

  • Supporting the students in the classroom.
  • Provide in class and out of class support and guidance for students
  • Promote respect and demonstrate inclusion and empathy in your role.
