History & English Teacher

We are seeking a permanent, full time Teacher, to teach History (High School and Senior College) and some English (High School), to commence from the beginning of Term 2.

The successful candidates will require:

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young people
  • the skills and attitude to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting
  • a willingness to implement, support and promote the School’s Steiner ethos
  • a strong commitment to student wellbeing
  • a willingness to be involved in the wider life of the School; and
  • understanding of the Australian Curriculum.

You must also:

  • hold a teaching qualification
  • hold ACT TQI registration
  • hold a current WwVP registration
  • undergo a National Police Record Check
  • be eligible to work in Australia.

We welcome and encourage all candidates with teaching qualifications and experience teaching history to apply. While Steiner experience or qualifications are not essential, a willingness to learn is required. Support and guidance will be provided to successful candidates without a Steiner background.

Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021.
