A new home for Leaning Tree Steiner School

Leaning Tree Steiner School in Geraldton, WA has had a momentous first semester with the completion of Stage 1 of their school build, as well as moving and settling a school of 112 students to a new site. The new site is in WA Glenfield, Big Sky Country! Buffeted by Geraldton’s famous winds and now ready for planting, landscaping, playing, learning and loving. The school community are blessed with 6 classroom spaces, 3 grassed play areas, ablution block and administration building.

The Leaning Tree Steiner School community introduced themselves to this Yamatji Land, sang, danced, gave thanks, and ate cake – what better way to celebrate! They celebrated not just the opening of the new school, but 100 Years of Waldorf with Bruce Lee (Head of Perth Waldorf School) presenting a speech celebrating the truth, beauty and goodness of Steiner Education. Sincere thanks to Bruce for travelling 415km to join the school on this occasion. Heartfelt thanks to all the hardworking staff, committed governing body members, and the families who entrust their children to Leaning Tree Steiner School – you have made this dream a glorious reality.
