Early Childhood Rudolf Steiner Education: The Vital Years

Learn from highly experienced kindergarten teachers, trainers, and mentors to develop new skills and deepen your understanding of Rudolf Steiner Education for the ‘vital years’ of Early Childhood.

The one-year (4 term) online course will be live-streamed, allowing you to engage directly with the tutor. It will also be recorded for later viewing.

The course will take place on Wednesdays from 7-8.30pm Melbourne time.  Term dates for Term 1 are 21 February – 27 March.

This course will give you a certificate of professional development hours referencing the Australian Teacher Professional Standards.

Foundations of Rudolf Steiner Education

The 2-term Foundations of Steiner Education will explore Rudolf Steiner’s teachings related to Steiner / Waldorf Education, which forms the underlying philosophy of the Steiner / Waldorf curriculum.

The online course will be live-streamed, and all classes are recorded for later viewing.  They will be led through lectures, exercises, and artistic representations.

Term 1 will start on 13 February at 7-9pm Melbourne time.

This part-time online course offers a Certificate of Professional Development upon completion.

Primary Class Teaching – Class 1 – 6

This 2-year part-time online course is designed for mainstream teachers, teachers-to-be, homeschoolers, and parents who want to develop new skills and deepen their understanding of Steiner/Waldorf education and gain valuable resources for working with children in their primary years.

The course will take place on Tuesdays from 7-9pm Melbourne time, starting 13 February.

This course will give you a certificate of professional development hours referencing the Australian Teacher Professional Standards.

Primary Class 3-4 Intensive

Held on 15-17 March, we will explore this significant time in the life of the child at class 3-4 as they develop and explore a new, more awake, sense of self, and how the curriculum meets and nurtures this sensitive developmental phase in this 3-day on campus intensive in Warranwood, Victoria.

It is suitable for Steiner teachers, mainstream teachers, parents interested in the journey children take in a Steiner school, home school educators, university students or anyone keen to learn of the practical, engaging activities children in classes 3 and 4.

Early Childhood Autumn Intensive (0-4 years old)

So much human development occurs in these early years, especially in the first three years when the child learns to walk. speak and think.

Learn from highly experienced Early Childhood teachers, educators, anthroposophical nurse and curative eurythmist the concepts and skills to support the healthy development of the senses; the skills, and crafts to nourish and nurture babies and young children; the development of self-directed movement etc. to form solid foundations for the very young children.

This intensive is suitable for parents, grandparents, nannies, babysitters, playgroup leaders, family daycare workers, and anyone who would like to set up wholesome environments and daily rhythms and activities for the young child.
