USC: Graduate Certificate of Steiner Education

The University of the Sunshine Coast is now open for enrolments into the Graduate Certificate of Steiner Education for Semester 2, 2020:

We’d love to have you join our dynamic program.

Endorsed by Steiner Education Australia, the 4 courses lead to a Graduate Certificate in Steiner Education or offer the option to continue on into an M.Ed.

What you need: a Bachelor’s degree in Education OR equivalent education degree and teacher registration in Australia.

Course structure: blended learning. Each course has a 2-day intensive requirement. This has traditionally been on campus at Sippy Downs QLD, but due to COVID19, we are running the intensives on and offline in real time on weekends around the university’s end of week 6 and 7. All ‘lectorials’ run online for the first 6 weeks via Zoom in real time, and are also recorded if you can’t be there.

The course is taught by Dr Shelley Davidow, Dr Bronwen Haralambous and Mr Matthew Cunnane, academics and master teachers who welcome you to be part of the program. Watch this short introductory video:

 Testimonials from current students:

‘I got so much out of these classes and they are, without doubt, the most rigorous and stimulating I have attended in many years of study. ‘

‘I loved this course…great experience, great teaching and so good to be around like-minded people – very inspirational indeed. The online lectures and blackboard discussions were great too. The assessments were relevant and real life and I know this research is useful in my current career too. Even the readings were great; really enjoyed this whole course.’
