Parkerville Steiner College has celebrated the opening of its newest building, marking a significant milestone in the continued growth and development of the College.
As Parkerville Steiner College continues its planned expansion, the new building strengthens the School’s capacity to deliver a rich and balanced secondary education that integrates academic learning, practical skills and creative development.
The new science laboratories provide students with opportunities to engage deeply with scientific inquiry through observation, experimentation and practical investigation. The lower level Arts Hub provides dedicated spaces for Music and Drama, enabling students to rehearse, collaborate, perform and develop their creative capacities in purpose-designed environments.
Head of Campus Hayley Spracklen said the building represents an important investment in both the present and future of the College.
“As our High School grows, it is important that our facilities grow alongside it. These new learning spaces allow us to provide students with greater opportunities to engage in practical, academic and creative learning, remaining true to the educational principles that underpin Steiner education. The building has been thoughtfully designed to support the needs of our students and teachers, creating spaces that encourage curiosity, creativity, collaboration and meaningful learning.”
The opening of the new facility reflects Parkerville Steiner College’s ongoing commitment to providing a contemporary Steiner education and ensuring students have access to learning environments that support their development as capable, creative and socially responsible young people.
With the addition of Year 11 in 2026 and Year 12 in 2027, the College continues to build towards a complete secondary pathway, allowing students to undertake their entire high school journey on one campus.
